W3 Rules and Regulations

These are the official W3 rules, guidelines, and general information. You are expected to follow them if you wish to be a part of this E-Fed. The rules on this page are subject to change, and you will be notified if such change occurs.

Wrestler Creation

1. You are allowed to create up to two characters. This is to ensure that you don't feel overwhelmed with trying to keep up with roleplays.

2. Because this is a fantasy world based on reality, you are allowed to create real-life wrestlers. You will be expected to play the role the same way that the wrestler is portrayed on television, though. (I.E. If you create the Rock, you will be expected to use the same catch phrases, use the people's eyebrow, etc.) Your chances of getting accepted into the W3 are greater with an original character, though.

3. Do not submit an application for a tag team unless both of you are officialy active on the W3 roster. The same thing goes with stables applications.

4. Be realistic about your character's physical attributes. (No 9'3" 700 lb. characters or any other unreal physique.)

5. You will be contacted in two to three days time if you have been accepted into the W3. If you have not been accepted then you can try to apply again.

Roleplaying and Out of Character Boards

1. The maximum amount of roleplays accepted is three for a weekly event, four for a pay-per-view. This is to ensure that you try your best when you roleplay and that you won't waste it. Three or four weak roleplays will be beaten by one or two really good roleplays.

2. Any kind of racist or anti-religious comments will not be tolerated. This is obvious. Depending on the demeanor and offensiveness of the comment, your punishment could vary from a loss to termination.

3. There is no roleplay length limit. Quality always trumps quantity, but you can't fit a quality roleplay into two lines. On the flip side, you can't spread a quality roleplay into two hundred lines. Effort counts, too. I can tell if you really tried to peice together and plan out a roleplay or not.

4. Swearing is not punishable, but be realistic. You never hear the words "Fuck" or "Shit" on T.V.

5. The W3 has a "Three Strikes" rule when it comes to not roleplaying. If you fail to roleplay three times for an event, then you will either be terminated, or we'll take creative control of your character from you, and he will be used as a jobber.

6. Do not use other characters in your roleplays with the consent of the W3 staff and the character's handler.

7. You can use certain W3 officials and staff in roleplays. Also, you can use certain W3 wrestlers in roleplays. When it comes to the W3 Staff, You can use referees, interviewers, and commentators in your roleplays. When it comes to the W3 wrestlers, you can use the wrestlers that are on the jobber roster.

8. Do not post any links on the roleplay board. Regardless if it's to another website or to a page containing your roleplay. The roleplay board is for roleplaying only.

9. Do not post any OOC comments on the roleplay board.

10. The W3 staff has no preference over wether or not you color the font in your roleplay. Plese make a color key at the top though to clarify what color represents what characters, dialogue, etc. Please keep the font and size default.

11. Please, no posting of any pictures on the roleplay board.

12. The deadline for all roleplays is midnight EST the day of the event. (For Wednesday Night "War Is Hell", the deadline would be 12:00 a.m. that wednesday, 9:00 p.m Tuesday PST)

13. No advertising of any sort of either boards.

14. If you cannot roleplay for event due to any certain circumstances, feel free to contact the W3 staff and let them know when you will be able to return to action, and we'll work your departure into the results.

Results

1. There are two weekly events in the W3, Monday Night "War Is Hell" and Thursday Night "Invasion!" There is also a monthly Pay-Per-View.

2. All results will be written 60-90% by an E-Fed simulator. Let's face it, I don't have the time or the patience to hand-write results. The storylines, backstage interviews, and any kind of special or unique event will be hand-typed. 3. The results of matches are 85-100% determined by roleplaying. If I have you win or lose a match on purpose, then I will let you and your opponent know beforehand so you don't have to waste time putting a lot of effort into a roleplay. There are many reasons why you would win or lose a match on purpose. It could be for a storyline, or you could be losing a lesser-prestigious title so you can get a push for a more valuable title.

3. The quality of the results will be a mirror image of the quality of the roleplays. Examples are seen below:

  • If you and your opponent do not roleplay at all, the match will not be written and declared a double DQ.

  • If you roleplay, but your opponent doesn't, then you will win via disqualification

  • If you and your opponent both write poor roleplays, the match will be short and poorly written.

  • If you roleplay really well and your opponent roleplays really weak, then you will dominate the match.

  • If you and your opponent both roleplay excellently, the match will be finely detailed, exciting to read, and will have a good ending.

Simply put, if you put more effort into your roleplays, We'll put more effort into your match. If you put little or no effort into a roleplay, then don't be upset when the results of your match are not real exciting.

    4. Resuls will be posted at the latest 2:00 a.m. or 3:00 the day after the event. This is usually when I get home from work.

    5. If you are upset about the result of your match, then take it up with a member of the W3 staff in a polite and tolerable manner, and we will see to it that you are compensated for your troubles if you make a good case. Bitching and whining won't get you anywhere.
